We traveled to a farm in North Georgia that just so happens to be owned by a wonderful lady we met at our first couple rally events. Like the wild people we are we took one kid and three dogs. Zeb, our 5 month old son; Cora, our 4 year old black bi; Lucky, our one year old black tri; and Beru, our one year old red tri.

All we had at home to practice on was ducks so that is all we signed up to trial on. But a duck trial was also the only one we had never watched before., the three trials we had previously watched only the sheep and cows.

On the first day Nick ran Cora and Beru in the started duck category for both trials. Beru placed 3rd in her two trials for the day but did not earn any points towards her title. Cora ran both trials and placed second in one and earned a score that went towards her title. She was 2 points away from being awarded the high in trial ribbon for her second place trial.

On day 2 Nick decided to run Cora twice again but Beru only once. Beru did not place but did earn a score that will go towards her started duck title. Cora placed 1st and 2nd in her next two trials and got the points she needed to be awarded her started dog duck title. She also won the honor of most promising started aussie and Nick wears the belt buckle every chance he gets.

Beru ended the weekend with one qualifying score and two third place ribbons.

Cora ended the weekend with three qualifying scores, two second place ribbons, a first place ribbon, a most promising started aussie belt buckle, and her stock dog title in ducks.

Zeb, Lucky, and I just had a great time socializing and cheering on Nick and his dogs.
